Once again I've been playing around (and definitely reading) with Medium. Honestly, this is probably one of the best mediums for writing, especially how much tied it is to Twitter and Facebook for very easy sharing. I figured I'd write a few articles there to share around that community.

As An ng-conf Virtual Attendee...

This past Thursday and Friday, Google held a public conference for all things AngularJS. I'm sure you've noticed lately that I've been a bit of a fan of it, especially the more I play around with what it all has to offer. 

Luckily, the fine folks who put on the conference decided to stream it as it was going on. Awesome! I got to catch a few of the sessions. Though, it's not the same as actually attending as I couldn't meet all the great people and speakers there, watching the live stream is the next best thing.

I didn't get to see all of the sessions yet (they have all been uploaded), but here are the ones I have seen that seemed to stand out:

• Before any of the sessions, the two keynotes are a must watch first
  • Miško Hevery and Brad Green  - The past and future of AngularJS
  • Igor Minar - The AngularJS community
• AngularJS in 20ish Minutes - Dan Wahlin's AngularJS in 60ish Minutes video is what got me started in AngularJS.
• Filters Beyond OrderBy and LimitTo - Interesting look at AngularJS filters. The performance of this looks amazing!
• Zones - Doesn't seem like much to run all async code in a "zone", but this definitely has some good uses.
• Using AngularJS to Create Mobile Applications with PhoneGap - Even web developers can create mobile applications!

In total, I'm glad I was able to catch what I could of the live stream and hope that next time I can be able to join in person. I hope at some point I can be able to contribute something to help make everyone's life easier with AngularJS.

Apparently, every Sunday seems to be a bit too much of a time constraint to get these links out. Instead, I'll just randomly send some I think are worth reading.

• Building Apps in the 4.5.1 Preview in VS 2012 (Microsoft .NET Team) - No need to get VS2013 Preview to build apps in the .NET 4.5.1 framework.
• AngularJS in 60ish Minutes (Dan Wahlin) - Awesome introductory video to the AngularJS framework. The more I learn about this the more I think I need to learn about it.
• Implementing a SignalR Stock Ticker Using AngularJS (Ravi Kiran) - Speaking of AngularJS, here's an awesome tutorial on it being used in action along with SignalR.
• Understanding Cross-Site Request Forgery in .NET (Bill Morefield) - With me still being new to this client side code stuff I still find stuff that everyone knows about yet I've just now heard about. This is one of those things.
